Privacy policy

How eSimaxi uses and protects the data needed to provide the service.

Updated: 7 September 2026

1. Service operator

Esimaxi is the entity responsible for the eSIM service and for processing the data needed to operate it. Privacy enquiries: support@esimaxi.com.

2. Data we process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process the email provided at checkout, order identifiers, selected plan, amount/currency, payment status, technical eSIM identifiers such as ICCID, installation data (SM-DP+, matching ID/activation code), provider-reported status and usage, and technical server/security logs. The website may use browser local storage to remember language and recover orders on that device.

3. Payments

Stripe processes card payment data. eSimaxi does not need to store your full card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Why we use data

We use data to fulfil orders, provision eSIMs, display installation credentials, provide usage status, handle support/refunds, prevent abuse, secure the service, meet accounting/legal obligations and improve reliability.

5. Providers and recipients

Strictly necessary data may be shared with providers involved in delivery: payment processor, eSIM wholesaler/aggregator, mobile network partners, hosting provider and technical service providers. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

6. Security

eSIM installation secrets are encrypted server-side before storage. Supplier and payment keys remain on the server and are not embedded in the browser or APK. Production traffic must use HTTPS. No system is infallible, so we apply safeguards proportionate to risk and restrict access.

7. Retention

Esimaxi retains only the data strictly necessary to operate the service, manage orders and provide support, for as long as needed for those purposes. Data subject to a statutory retention obligation is retained for the applicable period.

8. International transfers

eSIM is an international service. Depending on destination and supplier, service providers may process data in other jurisdictions. Where required by law, eSimaxi will use appropriate protection mechanisms with its processors.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object, restrict or port your data. Contact support@esimaxi.com to make a request. Some records may need to be retained where a legal obligation applies.

10. Children and changes

The service is not designed to knowingly collect children’s data without parent/guardian involvement where required. This policy may change as suppliers, features or legal requirements evolve; the update date will be changed accordingly.
