eSimaxi Support Center
Your eSIM is installed but mobile data is not working? Start with the quick checklist below. Menu names can vary slightly by phone brand and OS version.
Updated: 7 September 2026
60-second quick check
- Turn on the eSimaxi eSIM line.
- Select eSimaxi for mobile data.
- Enable data roaming on the eSimaxi line.
- Turn Airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off.
- Wait 1–2 minutes for network registration.
- Restart the phone if needed.
The eSIM is installed but I have no Internet
- Open SIM / Mobile Network settings.
- Make sure the eSimaxi line is enabled.
- Select eSimaxi for mobile data.
- Enable Data roaming on eSimaxi. Travel eSIMs commonly use local partner networks.
- Turn Airplane mode on for about 30 seconds, then off.
- Wait 1–2 minutes.
Android: where do I enable data and roaming?
- Pixel / Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs / SIM profiles → eSimaxi.
- Enable Use SIM and Mobile data.
- Enable Roaming.
- Select eSimaxi as the data SIM.
On Samsung, look under Settings → Connections → SIM manager / Mobile networks.
iPhone: where do I enable data and roaming?
- Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data.
- Make sure the eSimaxi line is enabled.
- Select eSimaxi for Cellular Data.
- Open the eSimaxi line → Cellular Data Options → enable Data Roaming.
- If needed, toggle Airplane mode for about 30 seconds.
No Service / SOS / no network
- Confirm that your current country is included in the plan.
- Make sure eSimaxi and roaming are enabled.
- Toggle Airplane mode for 30 seconds.
- Restart the phone.
- Keep network selection on Automatic. If needed, temporarily try a listed network manually.
- Temporarily disable VPN / Private DNS if used.
The QR code does not work or was already used
An eSIM QR code is sensitive and can be single-use.
- Never share your QR or activation code.
- If scanning fails, try manual installation with the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown in your order.
- If the device says the profile was already downloaded, first check whether it is already listed under SIMs/eSIMs.
Should I delete the eSIM after the trip?
You can disable the line when you no longer need it. Avoid deleting it while you may still need the plan or support, because the same QR may not reinstall the profile.
APN: should I change it?
Usually, leave the APN on its automatic settings. Only enter a manual APN if eSimaxi or support provides a specific value for your plan.
Dual SIM: how do I avoid using my main SIM?
- Keep your main SIM for calls/SMS if desired.
- Select eSimaxi for mobile data.
- Enable roaming on eSimaxi and avoid roaming/data on your main line if you want to prevent data charges there.
- Disable automatic cellular-data switching if your phone offers it and you do not want your main SIM used for data.
My plan works but the speed is slow
Speed depends on the partner network, coverage, congestion and available radio technology. A 5G-capable plan can use 4G/LTE when 5G is unavailable. Try Airplane mode for 30 seconds or move to a better-covered location.
When does the plan start?
Activation depends on the plan and provider. It may start on the first supported network connection or according to the conditions shown before purchase. Keep the eSIM installed and check “My eSIMs” for its status.
Contact us with your order number, phone model, current country and a screenshot of the error. Do not post or send your complete QR/activation code in public channels.
8. Cancellations and refunds
For cancellation or refund requests, contact support@esimaxi.com with your order number and a description of the situation. Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account the order status, eSIM installation or activation, usage and supplier conditions. Mandatory statutory rights remain applicable.
